Skin Care

The skin is most exposed to harmful factors such as wind, sun, low temperatures, pollution. The effect may be rapid aging of the skin, in order to ensure its youthful appearance, it needs to be properly cared for.

Basic principles of skin care

Although the face (popularly known as skin) and hands are most exposed to external factors, all exposed parts of the body are also exposed in the summer. Proper skin care of the whole body consists mainly in its proper hydration from the inside (minimum 2 l of fluids a day) and outside:

  • mild cleansing agents
  • Body lotions

A very important influence on the delay in the aging process of the skin has a lifestyle, healthy diet, adequate amount of sleep, lack of stress, giving up the use of stimulants are the factors that will ensure the skin’s youthful appearance. Healthy skin requires a healthy lifestyle.

An important element of skin care is its protection against sunlight, dermatologists recommend the use of stalls with larger and larger filters, because environmental pollution increases the adverse effects of UV rays. Brown tanned skin looks good for a month after returning from holidays, but it ages much faster. Wrinkles appear on the skin faster, it dries faster and loses its firmness. This also applies to tanned skin in a solarium. Excessive tanning affects not only the skin aging process, but can also contribute to the development of dangerous skin cancer.

Face care

Healthy complexion is a smooth, resilient complexion, adequately hydrated. In order to ensure that it looks like this, it is necessary to take proper care of it, not from time to time, but all the time.

The most important element of skin care is the selection of cosmetics for its type. Improperly selected cosmetics will bring more losses than benefits.

Most often, the type of skin can be determined on its own, and when it is difficult, it is worth consulting a good beautician.

Skin types and skin care

Normal skin occurs in children, with age it turns into dry, oily or mixed skin. The easiest type of skin to care for. It is characterized by elasticity, firmness, no discoloration, it is smooth. For everyday care, light moisturizing creams are sufficient, and in winter, semi-fatty creams.

Dry skin is a symptom of skin aging, its basic features are:

  • thin,
  • rough,
  • may peel off,
  • taut,
  • It ages quickly (visible wrinkles),
  • redness may occur after using soap with water, under the influence of external factors.

Such skin should be protected against UV rays and harmful factors.

Cosmetics with a mild moisturizing effect should be used for care. To cleanse, use tonics, then apply a moisturizing cream and makeup (dry skin foundation). At the end of the day, makeup removal should be carried out thoroughly and the dry skin cream should be applied overnight. Cosmetics for dry skin should contain hyaluronic acid, vitamins A, C, E, algae, aloe, omega 3 and 6 unsaturated acids.

Dry skin is characteristic for people over 30 years of age and its properties change with age, which is why many series contain cosmetics with symbols 30+, 40+, 50+. Their composition is adjusted to the needs of the skin at a given stage.

Oily skin most often occurs during adolescence, but more and more often it also occurs in adults. Its characteristic feature is the excessive production of sebum by the sebaceous glands, as a result of which pimples and blackheads appear on the face. The skin shines, is resistant to external factors and ages more slowly. The biggest problem of this complexion is acne, which can lead to disease.

For the care of oily skin, light cosmetics should be used first of all, without the content of oil ingredients, which may clog pores. Such skin usually requires the use of agents that reduce the production of sebum by the sebaceous glands, have an antiseptic and astringent effect.

Mixed skin requires the greatest care effort. Oily skin concerns the forehead, nose and chin, the rest of the face has dry skin. Appropriately selected cosmetics should be applied to each part of the Face.

Young skin is not only a matter of age, but above all the effect of its systematic and consistent care.
