The autumn season has begun, in which many people are struggling with a state of chronic fatigue, boredom or sadness. The state is often referred to as “autumn melancholy”. In magazines and blogs there are many articles with the title: “How to experience autumn? The drop in mood and vitality in autumn is caused by the fact that the days are getting shorter and shorter, coming back from work in the afternoon we have less “light day”, often it rains and leaves fall from trees, which start the process of decay on the ground. These are certainly not circumstances conducive to joy, especially when problems begin in personal life. However, it is often possible to confuse this state of autumn chandera with something more serious, i.e. depression.
How to recognize depression in autumn?

Depression is a disease that should never be underestimated. If you notice a person in your environment whose mood is declining, you don’t want to leave home and start to have more and more problems at work. A person who has simply changed beyond recognition. You may suppose that this is for the autumn, but you should never turn a blind eye to it. It is best to start with a gentle conversation, examining what doesn’t work out in the life of such a person. Very worrying symptoms are neglecting daily duties such as work, children, home or even personal hygiene, constant depression and high sleepiness. When you notice such symptoms, it is worthwhile to initiate proceedings in the form of a conversation, and then a visit to a psychiatrist or psychologist.
